Rebuilding Calumet is more than just new buildings. Rebuilding the community includes new educational opportunities and resources to support families and healthy living. Our Project Partners are working together to introduce a holistic approach to revitalization that includes expanded resources, new referral services, and community-based programs to empower individuals and help build a safe, sustainable and healthy community.
Job Training Opportunities
- A new modern job training center is currently planned to support the new manufacturing and logistics hub currently in development. The training center will offer specialized training required to work in today’s warehouse distribution industry, as well as other job skills needed to support local and regional growing industries.
Over the next several months, we will post news about new programs including referral programs to create healthy communities, improved access to fresh food, and other needed services in the Calumet neighborhood.
